Tour of the Capitol Building with Senator Wintrow
In late November, our Cub Scout pack visited the Idaho Capitol Building in Boise and took a tour with Senator Wintrow. The architecture of the building and history fascinated both the scouts and parents. During the visit, the scouts learned about the government and its branches, and had the opportunity to ask questions and get answers about the state and its government. They were thrilled to have the chance to meet Senator Wintrow and learn from her firsthand about the workings of the government. The scouts were even able to sit in the real Senators’ seats, which was a highlight of the tour. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.
